SVN Architects + Planners is looking for top architecture students to work elbow-to-elbow with our urban designers, architects, landscape architects and planners on a variety of interesting and challenging projects. During their terms, Co-op Students are integral members of teams, responsible for project segments including design documentation, rendering/other visualization mapping and diagramming, physical modelling, proposal development/marketing, and contributions to client consultations. While Co-op Students work closely with principals and associates, they also learn to make responsible decisions and solve problems independently. We strive to ensure that each student grows personally and professionally while with our firm. We consistently get high ratings from students who work with us.
- Currently enrolled in an architecture or urban design program;
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, Adobe CS5 Suite, MS Office Suite - hand sketching is also an asset;
- Two or more work terms completed, portfolio available to share with us;
- Able to adapt to a wide range of design scales from small residential to large master plans;
- A flexible and open attitude towards stretching the norms of work in an architecture firm - we want your new ideas!
- Self-motivated and able to take responsibility;
- Enjoy working in a friendly, supportive and fun environment.
Compensation and Benefits
SvN offers a competitive salary, full health benefits, a generous professional development allowance and a group retirement savings plan. Our airy, bright suite of offices is at 110 Adelaide Street East, near the St. Lawrence market in downtown Toronto, although working from home would be required at this point. (We'll equip you!)
